The Prospector 15 is a great multi-water touring boat that traces its heritage back to the original Prospector design that has become so iconic in the Canadian Canoe world. You get all the great handling features that make the Prospector a paddling legend but in a smaller and more responsive package! Constructed from durable SP3 triple layer rotomoulded polyethylene, this canoe will stand up to the abuse of many years of paddling.

With its shallow curved hull the Nova Craft Prospector 15 gives great initial stability for both the new and experienced paddler. The slight rocker gives the boat great agility so it is a great all rounder. This is a brilliant canoe for those wanting to take a friend off for a leisurely paddle up the river with a picnic lunch, for those wanting to do some gentle coastal touring with a pet or for multi-day solo trips. Whilst performing well on flatwater the Prospector 15 is also at home running through white water rapids.

The high sides from front to back will deflect water giving a drier ride than other canoes even on bigger waves and rapids. With a symmetrical design front to back this boat paddles well solo or with company. There is plenty of room for two paddlers with space to load up for an overnight camp. If you want a tandem boat for multi-day expeditions we would recommend the Nova Craft Prospector 16 or 17 both of which have more carrying capacity and space than the 15.
